Celebrate Your City With These New Home Announcements

We are all about snail mail. I mean who doesn’t love opening up their mailbox to be greeted with mail from friends & family…instead of another bill or catalog?! It’s safe to say we’re all heart-eyed-emojied for snail mail and we’ll use any excuse to whip out our address books and stamps.

And today we’re giving you an excuse to get your snail mail on with these easy NEW HOME ANNOUNCEMENTS!

We’ve tackled new home announcements in the past here on the HireAHelper blog (these ones were practically free!), but we figured it was time to give you a new spin on this project!

As a new Chicago homeowner, I recently ordered these Greetings From Chicago postcards to send out to our family and friends.I was able to write our new address & information on the back of the postcard via text when I ordered them online. Then all I had to do was address them, put on a postcard stamp (which is cheaper than a regular stamp btw), and put them in the mail.

Now everyone knows we moved & their address books are up to date…just in time for Christmas card season.

So if you’re moving to a new big city, then we think you should scour the internet for your own “GREETINGS FROM….” postcards. With a quick search at online paper retailers or on Etsy, you’re bound to find some cool city postcards from your new town.
