If you’ve ever seen an episode of MTV’s Cribs, you know that American sports stars live large. These superstar athletes are paid well for their endeavors on the field, track or ice rink (not to mention high-paying endorsement deals).
Curiosity drove us to uncover where famous sports stars currently live, versus where they were born. Did some sports legends retire back to their hometown? Is there a particular city or state that is churning out legends?
We’ve collected data on where 100 famous American athletes were born and where they live right now. We then compiled the information into this interactive map for your enjoyment. You can also check out our infographic here!
